As the authorized contractor for Passaic County under PSE&G’s Direct Install (UEZ) program, Donnelly Energy was more than happy to help the North Haledon Fire Department upgrade to LEDs in their firehouse and banquet hall.
Being a non-profit with limited funding, Direct Install was the best program to help the North Haledon Fire Department become energy efficient. After our initial free energy assessment, we worked with North Haledon to determine their best course of action: upgrading over 268 different lights to LEDs.
Donnelly was able to get a 50% reduction on their total project cost, with the remainder being covered interest-free though PSE&G’s on-bill repayment program.
Our project with North Haledon Fire Department was even spotlighted on PSE&G’s Energize blog! Read the write-up here.
FUN FACT
This lighting-only project reduced the Fire Department’s carbon emissions by 52.2 metric tons annually!
PSE&G’S DIRECT INSTALL
PSE&G’s Direct Install program offers up to 80% off energy efficiency upgrades in the lighting, heating, and cooling categories for businesses throughout New Jersey.
As a contractor for PSE&G’s Direct Install, Donnelly was able to secure upfront incentives to help lower the cost of the upgrade. Paired with the program’s 0% APR financing, North Haledon Fire Department was able to upgrade with no money out-of-pocket.
