Donnelly Energy is an approved Direct Install contractor and trade ally for every New Jersey electric and gas utility: PSE&G, Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L), Orange & Rockland (ONR), Atlantic City Electric (ACE),New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) , and Elizabethtown Gas.
PSE&G’s SBDI program is for any of their commercially-metered customers that are not located in an Urban Enterprise Zone. It follows the same Direct Install model across the utilities, offering comprehensive and cost-effective energy-efficiency measures that cut energy costs by as much as 30%.
Donnelly Energy is an open network trade ally for their SBDI program, meaning that we can work with any PSE&G business customer up and down the Garden State, as long as they don’t fall in the “closed network” or UEZ category.
PSE&G’s Direct Install program (or what we often refer to as the UEZ or “closed network”) exclusively offers higher incentives for non-profits, local government, K-12 public schools, and businesses within Urban Enterprise Zones. For this program, each county has an assigned and exclusive PSE&G authorized contractor who is the only entity that can manage the Direct Install program on behalf of the customers in the above-mentioned sectors.
Donnelly Energy is the PSE&G authorized contractor for Burlington, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, and Passaic counties.
NJ SmartStart Buildings® offered by New Jersey's Clean Energy Program™ is a prescriptive rebate program designed for new construction projects and complete gut-out renovations to "start" off with a clean energy slate by investing in energy-efficient equipment!
All non-residential utility customers are eligible to participate and receive up to $500,000 per electric account and $500,000 per natural gas account each program year.
Prescriptive measures include; Lighting and lighting controls, HVAC measures, Electric chillers, Gas water heating + Gas cooling and heating, Food service equipment, Variable frequency drives, Ground source heat pumps, Refrigerator doors and covers, Refrigerator / freezer motors, Refrigeration controls.
