Today’s the spookiest day of the year, and not just because it lands on a Monday. Halloween is here and Donnelly Energy is offering some helpful treats and reminders, instead of tricks.
If you’re taking the kids out trick or treating tonight, we suggest bringing an LED flashlight with you. The National Safety Council has some great safety tips for the holiday. Safety first, scares second!
Need a last-minute Halloween costume? Throw on a suit and some white spray paint, grab a light bulb, and you have an instant Thomas Edison look. If you have a Tesla coil and a fake mustache, you can dress up as Nikola Tesla.
Energy Action Month is also coming to a close, and we want you to be aware of the energy vampires lurking in your office. Read our previous blog to learn more on how you can “slay” them.
Another scary thing looming this week: Daylight Saving Times ends next Sunday. We’re falling back one hour so that means we get some extra sleep, but we’re also losing more daylight in the exchange. (Don’t be too afraid though, DST overall in the United States will be ending in 2023).
Happy Halloween, New Jersey!
