After a grueling hot summer, it’s nice to feel the autumn breeze. Fall is officially here! There’s plenty to do, see, and know to help you “get into” the new season in New Jersey. Here’s some of our favorites:
- The September full moon is called the “Harvest Moon”, as it’s the closest to the autumn equinox. Before artificial lighting, the Harvest Moon was essential for a farmer to harvest corn and other crops. This year’s Harvest Moon begins on September 24th. Learn more at NJ.com!
- The fall foliage forecast is looking good for New Jersey! Northern New Jersey should start seeing partial changes beginning October 1st and will peak around October 15th. (See NJ.com’s fall foliage guide for more information.)
- There are a ton of fall festivals throughout the state this year. Find one near you at NJFamily.com.
- It’s a great time to get your HVAC evaluated and/or serviced. If you replaced your HVAC through us and Direct Install, be sure to schedule maintenance on your units. (Give us a call at 973.323.8008 if you forget who your HVAC contractor is).
